About us - Corporate social responsibility
We are part of the local business infrastructure and the international legal community. To be respected in both these arenas and to be true to our personal values, we adopt an ethical approach to our legal and business practice.
For us, this means treating our stakeholders well, supporting charities that are important to us, reducing our impact on the environment and being active in our local community.
Each year we meet with up to three charities to find out how we can work with them, both by offering pro bono legal advice, fundraising within the firm and giving time to specific projects. This year we are supporting the great work of East Anglia's Children's Hospice (EACH), The Papworth Trust, and the Teenage Cancer Trust. At an individual level a number of our staff are supporting the enterprise initiatives of the Prince's Trust.
Reducing our impact on the environment is a long term project and high on our list of priorities. We are urgently assessing our exposure to environmental risks, measuring our carbon footprint, setting internal targets and playing our part in sharing best practice. We have recently joined the Carbon Coalition and would commend it to you.
Community projects are special and we can sometimes support at an organisational and personal level. If you have a project where you think our team might be able to help, let us know by email matt.meyer@taylorvinters.com. We can’t promise to get involved in every community project but we will support where we can.
