Taylor Vinters is a progressive legal services business.  From our Cambridge base we support clients across the East of England, London, the South East and internationally.  We have significant clusters of clients in Cambridge, London and the US.  They are businesses, individuals and not for profit organisations.  They range from high net worth individuals, university spin-out companies and household name charities through to FTSE250 and Fortune 500 multi-nationals.

In addition to our Cambridge base we are now looking to expand on the firm’s success to meet the needs of clients in London.  As a result we will be opening an office in London.

Such success is attributed to the firm’s exceptional and ambitious people, many of whom are highly rated lawyers in their respective fields.  We are now looking to recruit more highly successful lawyers in London to support our clients.

Job purpose

To provide top rated strategic tax planning advice to the private law market and help establish the firm’s London presence and wider application of the Cambridge brand.

The successful applicant will be responsible for attracting private individuals to the business as a whole whilst expanding and developing the tax, trusts and estates team, with particular emphasis on supervising tax strategy in wealth management for individuals and landed families.

Person specification

Essential

• Sufficient expertise and standing in the sector
• A reputation in tax advice for landed estates, dealing with off-shore elements and related tax input
• Ability to attract substantial work for the team in Cambridge whilst serving and developing the growing London client base and supporting London centric marketing initiatives
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals
• Ability to use initiative and work well within a team
• Driven, dynamic and commercially aware
