The small print - paying us
To enable our clients to settle their bills, we accept various methods of payment for different purposes. They are explained below.
Credit card
You can pay using a credit card either over the telephone or in person.
Debit card
You can pay by debit card either over the telephone or in person
Cheque/bank draft
Ten calendar days clearance is required for any of the following:
- Paying a bill
- Disbursements on account
- Search fees
- Stamp duty
- Deposit on property purchase
- Balance on completion funds
Standing order payments
This is is available for:
- Payment on account of costs
- Paying a bill by instalments (by prior agreement)
- Disbursements, on account
Telegraphic transfers / CHAPS
Please quote the reference in all cases and this is available for:
- Settlement of funds
- Investment / pension proceeds
- Property purchase transactions
- Private/commercial
We may need to ask you to confirm the source of funds under money laundering regulations. For any queries, please contact the lawyer acting for you.
