Emma Millar and Becky Everitt recently attended the centenary celebrations for the Papworth Trust, a charity with which Taylor Vinters has worked for some two decades.
Service users across the charity joined its patron, HRH the Duchess of Gloucester, to mark the special anniversary of the Trust, which was founded as a tuberculosis colony in 1917.
The Trust has grown immeasurably during the last century. It is now a leading disability charity; supporting thousands of people, their families and carers every year. It has won numerous awards and commendations for its innovative approach to helping people with a disability live their lives as independently as possible.
Over the years Taylor Vinters has worked with the Papworth Trust, we have provided support on a wide range of charity, property and commercial issues. The charity has been our Charity of the Year on a number of occasions and we have participated in long-distance walks and other fundraising events to support its growth and expand its services.
“The centenary event was a fantastic celebration of the Papworth Trust’s heritage and how far the charity has come,” Emma said. “One of the most striking things was the immense support and goodwill the Trust generates from staff, beneficiaries and the local community. We wish them every success for the next 100 years.”
