The People Summit Series – Recruiting for the future
Our People Summit Series brings together strategic decision-makers, experienced HR practitioners and senior executives responsible for managing, retaining and attracting talented people.
Each session is facilitated by members of Taylor Vinters’ employment team, in collaboration with a guest expert contributor. Our aim is to create a community of forward-thinking professionals to discuss topics relevant to people strategy and future workplace planning, share best practice and build new connections.
This event focuses on devising an effective recruitment strategy for the future world of work.
Recruiting for the future
The session will be chaired by Dom Holmes (Partner & Co-Head of Employment, Taylor Vinters), with expert contributions from:
- Patrick Philpott (Founder, Visionpath): Patrick will talk about how social mobility is the last piece of the diversity jigsaw when attracting and retaining the best talent – and the benefits to your organisation of recruiting staff from a range of social backgrounds.
- Kim Wedral-Rooke (Partner, Taylor Vinters): Kim will explore some big topics that we think all employers should consider as part of their long-term recruitment strategy, with a specific focus on skills and incentives.
- Chrissie Easom (HR Director, Taylor Vinters): Chrissie will outline some of the things we have learned from our #GreatThings recruitment campaign, which was recently named as a finalist at the HR in Law Awards. In particular, she will talk about how we have actively engaged with candidates and agencies, so they are clear about our proposition and we could attract talented people who were excited by that.
This is intended as an interactive discussion with plenty of opportunity for networking and swapping ideas.
