I recently joined the Emerging Companies team as part of its expansion into the firm’s London office.
With a Corporate Commercial background, I have a wealth of experience advising clients on all such aspects of their businesses, from incorporation and seed funding to exit; including majority investments, management buy in/outs and full exits.
I trained and qualified at a West End firm where I stayed for almost 10 years before moving to Taylor Vinters in 2018 to focus more on advising start-ups and high-growth companies.
I have a strong background of advising tech, FMCG (in particular food & drink) and gaming businesses but have a broad range of experience advising various different clients with their corporate and commercial requirements. I regularly advise both entrepreneurs and investors with fundraising, from small ´friends and family´ rounds to multi-million pound investments, including with SEIS and EIS reliefs.
I am passionate about working with entrepreneurs as they found and grow their businesses and strongly believe in building long-term relationships which allow me to provide tailored advice which matches the client´s style and expectations. All advice that I provide, however complex, is clear and provided in a format which can be easily implemented.
As well as being involved in a number of high profile M&A transactions and investments, I also advise clients on their commercial requirements, including drafting consumer terms and conditions, drafting and negotiating supplier contracts and distribution and agency arrangements and, more recently, preparation for and ongoing compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
One thing you may not know about me is that I am married to an entrepreneur, so I really do understand the highs and lows of running your own business. Most of my time outside of the office is spent with my young son visiting various local farms and parks or, when I get the opportunity, spending time with friends in any of London’s ever-growing number of restaurants.
