I am an enthusiastic and proactive Managing Associate based in Cambridge in our Real Estate team, providing supportive and thorough advice to owners of farms and estates, tenants and their businesses.
I act primarily for private landowners, supporting them with informed, helpful advice covering all aspects of, land ownership and tax planning. I have significant experience in advising clients about protected agricultural tenancies.
At the University of Westminster, I graduated with a first-class degree before studying the LPC at the College of Law, obtaining a distinction. I then took a gap year and travelled across the USA before starting my training contract at Taylor Vinters in 2013, qualifying into the Real Estate team in 2015.
I deal with a wide range of properties including large estates, cottages and grazing land, and have extensive experience with complex land ownership including trust land. I specialise in a range of property and agricultural matters, including:
- Sales of farms and land
- Complex first registration
- Farming partnership agreements
- Capital tax planning for farming families
- Equine stable and stud purchases
- Tenancy advice including Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 succession advice.
Together with my colleagues, I offer pertinent advice specifically tailored to family farming businesses. I share the Taylor Vinters’ value of building a strong relationship with every client, ensuring I fully understand their needs and applying innovative thinking to reach the best solutions. Clients find me industrious and approachable.
On a personal note, I am an animal lover and recently adopted a tabby cat from a client who was moving abroad. In my early teens I was a member of the Young Farmers, winning first prize in the sheep judging contest.
I would love to discuss how I can help you with your farm or estate, so please phone or email me.
