I predominantly work in our London office for our high net worth investors, busy professionals and entrepreneurs. I am a modern and enterprising City lawyer with a particular specialism in tax and structuring advice for property investment into the UK, particularly in London.
I spend a lot of time working with my clients’ professional advisers such as accountants, private bankers, property search agents and offshore advisers, to ensure that my clients’ property portfolio in the UK is protected and as tax efficient as it can be.
I have increasingly been engaged as the central UK adviser for high net worth clients from the UAE and remaining GCC countries, China and South East Asia.
I grew up in Kent and trained at a medium regional firm where I qualified as a solicitor in 2005 into the Private Client Department. I set up and ran my own law firm in 2010 before joining a niche prime London property firm in 2012 as the Head of Private Client. I joined Taylor Vinters in 2014 and was made a partner in 2015. I took over as the Head of Private Wealth in September 2016.
I provide a holistic approach to the services I offer my clients and go beyond the offerings of a traditional Private Client lawyer:
- Tax planning and structuring for non-resident clients
- Advising clients whether to retain existing tax structures
- Working with property agents and developers on property deals
- Property portfolio management for high net worth non-resident clients
- Family Office service
- Investor and entrepreneur visas
- UK Wills and family arrangements
- Trust creation and administration
- Succession planning for business owners
I will help you to secure your chosen asset in the UK and at the best possible price if you need me to. I will then ensure that the asset is as protected as it can possibly be from tax and potential creditors and creditors and that it finally passes where you want it to when you’re no longer around.
If you’d like to know more or have a chat about your UK assets, I’d be happy to discuss how I can help.
You may not know this but I studied for a joint degree in Law and American Studies and have a particular interest in US history and politics.
