I represent clients before the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and European Patent Office (EPO), primarily in the electronics and software fields.
I am a Chartered and European Patent Attorney and I hold an MEng in Electronic Engineering with Computer Science from UCL and a PGCert in Intellectual Property Law from Brunel University.
I advise clients regarding all aspects of their intellectual property portfolio and strategy. My technical specialism is in the fields of electronic engineering, telecommunications, and computer software – particularly AI and machine learning. I also have significant experience with mechanical devices.
I am well-regarded amongst my clients for being able to explain complicated matters in straightforward, down-to-earth language and for my commercially focused approach to IP.
Before joining Taylor Vinters, I spent several years working for one of the largest firms of patent and trademark attorneys in the UK. I joined Taylor Vinters in November 2021 to develop the software patent practice.
I have significant experience with patent applications relating to electronic circuits, semiconductor devices, radio communications, and AI.

Depending on the prevailing weather, in my free time I can often found either out in the wilderness with my golden retriever or embracing my inner gaming nerd. When I’m not creating content for a long-term D&D campaign, I play several video games semi-competitively.
