Zaheer is an Associate in the Emerging Companies team within the Corporate department at Mishcon Future.
He has particular expertise in the early-stage and venture-capital sectors, advising founders, investors and start-up companies on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including funding rounds, equity incentives, mergers & acquisitions, and general corporate structuring.
Key Experience
- Leading clients through all stages of funding rounds, from term sheet stage through to closing, including reviewing, negotiating and agreeing investment documents.
- Preparing constitutional documents such as shareholders' agreements and articles of association.
- Reviewing and advising on alternative funding arrangements, such as convertible loan notes and advance subscription agreements.
- Advising and preparing share options schemes and associated documentation
- Reviewing and preparing company cap tables.
