I am a considered, responsive and technically excellent Real Estate Partner.
I joined Taylor Vinters in 2007, and was recognised in Chambers & Partners as an ‘Associate to Watch’, noting that “clients hold him in high regard for his efficient approach”.
I read Land Economy at the University of Cambridge (St. Catharine’s College 2001). After gaining experience in the Civil Service, I joined Taylor Vinters as a trainee solicitor. I have been here ever since, qualifying in 2009. And promoted to Senior Associate in 2014 and then made Partner in 2017.
As a rural and agricultural solicitor, I advise clients on agricultural law issues, concentrating on agricultural land sales and purchases and also acting for landlords and tenants on agricultural tenancy issues. I am often recommended to new clients by other property professionals.
I take a calm yet determined and responsive approach to matters involving farms and estates, in particular:
- Farm sales and purchases
- Equine stable and stud farm sales and purchases
- Family farming partnership agreements and restructuring
- Farming family capital tax planning
- Tenancy and land issues including Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 successions.
As part of our diverse and highly effective Real Estate team, I can support you with a full complement of specialist and general advice for all property needs. I really get to know my clients and build strong and long-lasting relationships, so I can understand how best to help you achieve your goals. I’ll ensure you benefit from the full service you deserve, by providing straightforward, accurate and timely advice.
On a personal note, I play guitar in the Taylor Vinters house band. We compete every year in the Law Rocks competition event to raise money for charitable causes. I wrote music reviews for the Cambridge University student paper and recorded and released two studio albums on an independent label.
